today announced they have joined forces to provide scalable
voice-driven multimodal solutions for carriers and
enterprises.
Vialto's Server products (see related

Mobility Solution for Business Professionals”), incorporate a suite
of voice-driven multimodal applications that are based on the
VoiceXML standard, and deliver interactive access to aggregated
personal and corporate information, to mobile professionals.
Vialto's applications provide busy professionals with ease of use
and time efficiency through a rich set of features. On 2G
networks, a combination of intuitive voice commands and Short
Message Service (SMS) helps wireless business professionals search
for, retrieve, reply-to and forward email; look up and forward
contact information; voice-dial from personal and corporate
directories; retrieve and schedule appointments; access intranet and
corporate applications; and be proactively reminded of meetings or
alerted to calendar changes.
